At best this sort of thing is spam to me which clutters up the forum. At worst it is identity gathering.

1st posts like this should be instaban or at least demand an answer to "what have you brought to the community?" first. Freeloaders.

Maybe new members should be made to contribute to the forums first. Some forums require you to have so many posts before you can create a new thread.
