Hi, do these 2 cards use the motherboard's memory or do they actually have their own memory as i know my 8400GS uses my motherboard's memory, looking to get a card that doesnt use the system memory.
my 2nd question is can these 2 cards send DTS-HD MA, TrueHD and the other HD audio formats via HDMI for a receiver like the Onkyo 606 to decode, will it do it for normal DD5.1/DTS too as i'm thinking of buying an onkyo 606 receiver to do decoding as i dont want to spend £150 on a hdmi sound card if i can send the signal via hdmi for a receiver to decode instead.
