I am considering a G-Sync monitor or 4k monitor or both and I have gotten my head around most of what it means for me as a gamer
My first thought is this:
If I go for a 27"-32" 4k monitor while it will put my 980ti+5820k to strain if I turn on all the dohickies and doodads I should be able to have less or none at all Anti Aliasing because the pixel density should be such I will not notice the jaggly edges. Thus reducing load on gpu.
Second thought is:
G-Sync will in theory keep the monitor and card in sync meaning even if frame rate dips it will be better.
Third thought is:
Upscale from dvd quality content will not look that much worse than upscaling to 1080p due to pixel density vs size.
So am I right or have I talked myself in circles and still getting it all wrong.
