Questions about Torrent Compact

Hi, I’m building a new machine within the next couple months and am trying to decide on a case. I’m not going to be water cooling and am averse to AIOs, I’m planning on using an NH-D15 G2.

I’m currently considering the Fractal Design Torrent Compact or the Lian Li o11 Dynamic. The Torrent seems better for my needs but I have a couple concerns. The 180mm fans in front are a non-standard size and so more difficult to swap, there’s no Noctua 180mm afaik. I’m sensitive to sound, especially high pitched, so I’m wondering what people’s experience with the stock fans are. What’s the volume like and what’s the nature of the sound? The airflow shouldn’t be an issue - everyone seems to say it’s best in class. Are the bottom fans or other optional fans worthwhile, or is the stock configuration ideal? I’ll be using a 5070 TI most likely.

I’ve also seen consistent complaints about cable management on the Torrent Compact. I don’t mind some difficult cable management as long as it all fits, and I’m only using the one PCIe slot. Do you need an extension to get power to the card from underneath the board?

Any other recommendations are of course appreciated. Thank you!

Bit late but I will answer some. Fans are bigger so as you might expect the noise profile is more of a gentle deep hum. (That being said they move so much air that you are more likely to hear that than the fan itself (except at high rpm)).
Even now years later the torrent tops most noise normalised tables and silence ...it's hard to beat the effective wind tunnel that a torrent gives you.

The case does have brackets to use smaller fans, but if you plan to replace them, get a different case like a north or a meshify. (Though fans on meshify 3 are good).

Cable management....it's not great. But it's not nonexistent. Bit of patience and you will be fine. Likely worse if you have more SSDs HDDs.

Much appreciated Jason. I will only use NVMe drives, and I'm a patient guy, so that tracks. Tricky cable management's part of the deal when going for a compact case. The Fractal Design cases are on sale on Newegg right now so I'll pull the trigger soon and update with my thoughts once I have everything running. Thank you!
