Just got my new pump & res through, just wanted to check this setup was right!

From what i can see with the pictures, the water goes into the pump through top (or the blocked off port) and is output through the middle bit on the side (correct?) and with the Res, water coming in goes to that port on the right (as there's that splash reducer (or from what i can see), so therefore the output of that would be the port on the left!

The pump goes in through the middle and out through the top.

Any loop order is fine, as long as the res comes before the pump
 
Just looking at that diagram.. I was just thinking.. Would it not be better to put the sequence as Rad > Res > Pump > CPU/GPU heads > Rad etc ? The reason I ask is that warmer water hits the pump which can't be good for impeller.. I could be wrong. I have mine as you described but it was just passing thought.

I was told it doesn't make enough if a difference to matter

A long as the res is before the pump, any route is fine.
 
ok cool cheers guys, now to figure out where to mount the pump in my 800, i know a lot of people say freefalling, but i don't trust that weight!
