Hi folks,
Well I've not done a build since my Q6600, in a rather too massive case that barely fits under the desk, so I'm wondering on a few details with all the new kit needed.
As for games I play skyrim, a bit of battlefield, but mostly games that don't need too much oomph.
I've decided on a Bitfenix Prodigy case and a corsair H80i as I usually watercool. My current PSU and HDD (will end up just being for storage ) will be used also. RAM shouldn't be too hard to figure out. My current GPU will be likely replaced a bit later depending on funds.
I'm just needing to spec up a MOBO, CPU, and SSD and any advice would be great. I've not got sunk into specs as much as I used
to.. I do tend to go for Intel - Will it make too much difference in price or performance going for pre-Haswell ? I'd like built-in wifi in a MOBO and £100 or less would be good. I had reckoned on about £100-150 on CPU. Is this realistic ? I don't wan anything too low-end.
Is performance much of the same for a lot of SSD's?
Thanks, T
