I'm looking at maybe replacing my cooler master V700 psu due it getting a bit long in the tooth now. Its got to be about 5 years old at least now, and with the Sapphire nitro+ vega 64 I'm using, I'm thinking about future proofing. Now, I know a lot of people here recommend around the 750w-800w range when running one of these Vega 64, but I'm undervolting quite a bit and currently only drawing around 210 watts atm under load, so do I really need, say, a 750w 800w psu (my pc is in my sig below), would a good quality 650w, gold or silver psu do me just fine? Cost isn't really an issue and I've got a budget of about £100.
Any suggestions?

I wouldn't replace the psu that you have now. The Coolermaster V series are tier 1 psu's and yours is built by Seasonic and has 696w on it's 12v rail. It got reviews of 9.1/10 to 9.5/10 so the reviewers thought it was a good unit. Five years isn't a lot of time for a quality modern psu so keep it until it really needs to be replaced.

there isn't such a thing as "futureproofing" a psu lol.
they're either good...or they're not.
as mentioned above, CM V700 is a good unit. so just leave it alone ;)

No hurry to change that PSU yet for few years.
In Coolermaster's sea of mediocrity V-serie is one of the few ones with quality components.

And any 80+ Silver models would be basically at least five years older designs than it!
80+ Bronze is in PC tech terms medieval.
80+ Platinum would be step ahead...
Maybe those will come down to more mainstream price in couple years.
