Overclocked my E6600 last night to 3.00Ghz, tested for just over 8 hours with orthos with no warnings. Never saw temp over 60, I'm on stock cooling right now as I can't decide what cooler I want.
I went to set my memory timings back to 4-4-4-12 but it failed to boot saying safe mode had gone active on the post screen. It boots fine at 5-5-5-18 but my memory is rated for 4-4-4-12. I've tried some things but all to no avail. Anyone encountered this? or similar.
I use the Evga 680i with P28 bios, 2GB Corsair Dominator, E6600.
