quick 1 guys, help.

ok ive got a dell laptop and as of this afternoon the battery doesnt seem to be charging with charger plugged in but it will still power the laptop. when it boots up it beeps and a error messgae says it cant determine the wattage of the charger, anyone else had this? was it the battery or the charger?

Sounds like a broken power cable. Log a call with Dell is your best bet

I've had this on my Dell M1530 and usually switching it off for 5 minutes, then rebooting solves the issue.

I had this the other day on my laptop. The guy said it is either the power cable or the pin inside the laptop which connects to the power cable. Luckily is was the power cable that broke so i just replaced it with a new one.
