Hi just wondering would running a 8800GTX with air cooling @630mhz core/1000mhz memory clock 24/7 significantly reduce the life span of the card if the load temps are in safe range ?

thanks

Hard to say accurately:eek:

It may bring down the lifetime of the card, but It should still last for years run like that 24/7. Its not like your putting more volts trough it.

yes but starving an overclocked chip of volts is like a petrol engine running to lean

but it will prolly last as long as you need it before you upgrade in a couple of years maybe to newer hardware

mines been running 610/2000 ish since jan 2007 when i got it and its fine
