Quick Adobe CC question

So I have a retail copy of LR5 which does me fine. As I don't use PS, retail was more cost-effective than the creative cloud subscription option.

I'm now looking at starting to use PS a bit as I feel I need to get to grips with it, so the cloud option suddenly becomes the obvious choice.

My issue is that I really don't want to upgrade to LR6 right now, mainly because I have work still to process from two recent weddings and I don't want to risk any issues.

If I subscribe to CC, can I download PS but keep my existing retail copy of LR5 for the time being, then replace that with the LR6 from CC at a later time, or will I be forced to remove LR5? If I have to remove and then install both from CC, do I have the option of using LR5 or will it force me to use the latest version?

Any help appreciated :)
 
Cool thanks. I guess the next question would be whether my existing LR5 install would then "see" the CC PS install and integrate with it properly or not but I guess I'll only find out by trying.

Have subbed as it's on offer right now so I'll see how I get on with it.

Need to find a good "PS for total muppets" tutorial/book now :D
 
LR5 should find PS even the newer CC, if not you can add it manually as an editor but doubt you'll need to.

Check out Phlearn YT channel as a good starting point but there are countless.
