My new house has a bundle of providers available to it, just spoke to o2 and they are basically saying you cannot have broadband without a landline.
I know how LLU works, it comes through the copper wire of your landline, does this have to be 'activated' (pay for home phone) for broadband to be allowed on the line?
Don't really need home phones (who does nowadays?) as we're all students with perfectly functioning mobile phones.
If we have to buy a phone package along with broadband we may as well go with Virgin as its a similar price but faster speeds, just have to pay the £50 connection fee they charge.
