Quick Adsl max question

Hi guys got back on broadband finally gone with ADSL 24 on their 8mb max 60 option.

I got connected yesterday at 4pm at 8.1mbs but only got downloads of 250kb's so i reconnected and got 5.1mbs and 570kb's download.


This morning im connecting at 7.6mb's and still get 570kbs downloads? I'm guessing it takes time to sort itself out? My line stats are;

ReceiveAttenuation_dB= 25
ReceiveMargin_dB= 18
SendAttenuation_dB= 14
SendMargin_dB= 23

Hi

With Max there is a 10 day DLM period where the BT determine the stable speed of the line and set the fault levels and the like.

However normally after the first 3 days the line should be more stable and the speeds generally up to what you can expect from the line.

Thanks homerj. I am only 700 metres from exchange and stats look good so far hope I can stay at 7mb or above.

You should get full 8mb with these stats.
