My IT manager is off so I have to consult you guys instead. Mainly bledd actually as he seems to know about everything and his dog!

Our server adds on the signature to all outgoing emails and I need to change one of them for a specific person.

Where the hell do I look?

Cheers for the hopefully quick reply! :)

Letting us know what email system you use would be helpful. Is this a standard sig for all users (like a disclaimer) or a user specific sig (different information for each user)?

PS: I don't think Bledd comes in here very often.

Sorry, copied and pasted it from the thread in the Windows section :p

It's a disclaimer but has information for each individual, such as direct dial etc. So i assume it's a standard sig for all users.

All I know is we are using Windows 2000 along with Exchange 2000.

Any help would be muchly appreciated. :)

Think i've cracked it.

We are using a 3rd party disclaimer tool called DisclaimIt.

Does anyone know if these types of programs read from the Exchange profiles and puts the information into the signature, such as name, job role and telephone number?

I would assume it would pick up the data from AD, a quick look at their website seems to point to the software being able to do that.
