Quick advice please regarding XF100-400mm on XT10 and XT1

Is there any point in buying a used Fuji XT1 when I already own a Fuji XT10? The difficulty I have with the XT10 arises when using the 100-400mm. I'm catching the back panel buttons with my thumb prior to taking a shot. You can lock the buttons on the XT1 and there is also the advantage of using the battery vertical grip which you can't with the XT10. I'm thinking I could use the XT10 as a backup?
Edit: Perhaps I ought to rephrase the question? Does anybody using the 100-400 have an issue or a problem accidently knocking the back panel buttons on a Fuji XT1 (either with or without the vertical battery grip)? Thanks.

I decided to go for the XT1 with battery grip. Layout, weather sealing and ergonomics being a major part of this decision. As previously stated I will either use the XT10 as backup or sell it. The announcement for the XT2 is due in June but it could still be a couple of months (August before release).
