Are you saying that you want either an AMD or Intel cpu for £160 ? ...well for £160 you can't do much better than the AMD Phenom II 955 BE
Your post wasn't really very clear, but just so you understand, that's just the cpu, you'll need the rest of the system to go with it. Asking about a gaming system for a given budget would have been a better course of action in my opinion.

i dnt understand,is that £160 ur budget for CPU onli or its the total budget, u need cpu , mobo and ram in that budget????? ,ur most is nt clear enough
