Hi,

I'm looking at a few amps on the bay of E at the moment.

I'm planning on amping both my front and rear speakers - so what type of amp would I need? multi-channel?

Thanks :)

No great benefit in amping the rears though as Head unit will be sufficient and you really want them faded down quite low for a bit of infill and no more. Plus running new cable through to the rear doors can be a pain.

yep , I bought a 5 channel amp , ran the sub off one , bridged the other 4 into two for the front components and ran the rears off *** head unit

the amp in the headunit isn't that good, so i'm just looking to buy a cheap amp to improve the sound until i can afford to buy a really good unit.

Dont bother then mate..just wait until you can afford the head unit :)

I've amped my rear 6x9s using a dodgy 2 channel amp for now and got the fronts wired to the HU, sounds alright, but it's not a permanent setup.
