a quick re-capp

I want to install the new 14.6 amd drivers from 14.4

Currently i have 14.4, shall i fully un-install the 14.4 drivers on my pc with driver cleaner?

Or shall I just install the 14.6 drivers over the old 14.4 drivers?

I saw somewhere that you can just directly install new AMD drivers overwriting the old drivers without un-installing the old drivers?

I always used to aswell,till recently,the custom res I needed for some games was always greyed out in ccc,so I had to uninstall/re install so I always do that now

The best method, that will give you minimal possible issues is...

Uninstall drivers normally via the AMD Catalyst Install Manager. Then run DDU, follow the prompt to restart into safe mode. Copy the settings below, click clean and restart.

Install new drivers.
