Quick And Easy Questions

Hi,

I have a Shuttle SN68G2 with a Amd Athlon Dual Core 4600 cpu in it and have a couple of questions-

1) the machine is used as a HTPC (linux based), when I start it up during post it says 'keyboard error or no keyboard present press f1 to continue'

How can I disable the keyboard check? I cant seem to find anything in the bios personally.

2) What settings should these be for my cpu-

cpu ratio (eg x4 800mhz/x5 1000mhz/x6 1200mhz etc etc)
cpu frequency (eg 200mhz, 201mhz etc)

Thanks for your time, I know these are pretty basic questions so feel free to mock me

There should be a setting in your BIOS disable F1 prompt or something along them lines
Re CPU settings you should just be able to leave it on auto

hi mate,

there are no auto settings available to setup the cpu

I have found the keyboard problem now also and fixed it.

any idea what the CPU should be?? I dont want to set it wrong and melt it down lol

I'd say 80-90% but if you want to be sure try posting in CPU section with name of CPU in title and HELP in big letters, should get someones attention
E.G. Athlon 4600 Settings HELP :confused:

hopefully someone with that chip can confirm 100%
