What watercooling additive should i get to prevent corrosion and algae growth?

I was thinking MCT-5 (32oz) ? Actually found some HydrX 2oz, how much of this stuff do i need :o

Don't add anything to the water, you don't need it. :)

Conclusion:
In a properly setup PC cooling system which contains no mixed metals, and uses copper/brass as the metal of choice, no coolant additives are required. Pure deionized water or distilled water will be your best choice, with a small amount of nonionic surfactant added for that extra .01C if your interested.

i ran a full asetek kit and still got algae and that was an of the shelf box set..



carnt see putting it in does any harm? :confused:
 
Meth's, i think that is just about corrosion. If you have heat and you have clear tubing that is exposed to light then you will get algae.

Just get something like Zerox to add to your distilled water.
