Quick Answer Please

Today im going to buy a wii sports pack. I want to put it into the tv downstairs (sharp xd1 42 inch) It has no component input but a VGA, which is fine for my 360. I understand the wii has no VGA cable, so what can I buy to play at 480 res? Do I need to buy official component lead and some VGA adapter?

Plug it in to the scart connector.

It looks fine on my 37 inch tv. I'm happy with my picture quality over 480 that way.

Scart will display a 480i signal. The only benefit of using component is getting a 480p signal.

Get an RGB scart and you'll be fine.

For the graphics the Wii puts out, 480i should be fine.

hmm after having a scout around for one all shops are out of stock - Had a bargain in the local paper though, 9 games + 2 remotes + wii for 190
