Im currently backing up my Lost DVDs and i was wandering
what is the difference between using AC3 passthru ( what ever that means ) vs. mp3 mixed down to dolby prologic ( thats what my decoding box accepts via optical )
I had originaly done some tests and found out that my PS3 likes to accept the AC3 version. But since ill be picking up a PCH soon then i might be able to keep it as mp3?
I ask because my target size is set to 400mb and when i select AC3 it really affects the bitrate ?

So AC3 it is i guess
