Installed my new car battery just now, but before I try and start it I have a quick question.
On the top of the battery theres a white sticker that says "please remove plugs" and points to one end of the battery. Can I get some clarification that the tiny little red bungs at either end of the battery are what it is referring to before I pull them out?

The other came out fine but this one just fell apart and is now wedged in the battery! Is it safe to run with only one out for a bit? ie to 5 miles to work and back? Or will it explode or something?
