Quick BF2 question - UNlocked weapons not selectable?

Hi Al

Been playing BF2 for a while and all has been well until earlier in the week when I had a powe cut just at the end of a round.

When I next went to play it didn't attempt to connect to the Account Manager, instead just going to the player select screen and showing all my set up players as Offline accounts.

I figured this was some kind of problem caused by the power cut, so I went throught the procedure to retrieve my account and all seemed well.

However this evening I noticed that none of the weapons I've unlocked (which isn't many but not bothereed about that) are selectable in game...

If I click on the BFHQ button it shows which weapons I've unlocked and on the BF2s website I can check my details and my unlocks are again there but I can't use any of the unlocked guns in game which I have been able to do in the past.

Has anyone else ever experienced this problem and does anyone know what is up and how I might fix it?

This invariably happens when you join a server but either rectifys itself during the round or when the map rotates. How many times has it happened ?
Other than that I can't really help.
 
Only noticed it tis evening and didn't fix itself during about an hour and a half or so, also they weren't there when I started a sinple player game to check.

Fingers crossed it'll srt itself out in the morning...
 
This does happen from time to time. you usually have to reconnect or find another server. It probably has nothing to do with the power cut, so don't worry.
 
I've found that I can never get to my unlocked weapons in single player, only multiplayer.

First check that unlocks are allowed on the server, if that fails rejoin the server - usually sorts it.
