Quick Bioshock question

I just started Bioshock tonight, good game so far but I've ended up getting lost more times than I can remember, and it scares me with headphones at night :o

My question, when I got extra powers with my hand it told me I could only keep 2, is there any way I can retrieve the other one I had and how do I make space for more?

Also, when I Collect/buy stuff using Adams, it prompts me to fill in slots, however how on earth do I access some of the stuff that I saved?
 
You can buy extra slots using adam from a gatherers garden. You can also change which plasmids you have active at machines (been a while, can't remember which one) Its all in the manual though, give it a read, tis useful.

I've spent hours on the first map exploring everything, I can't find the last little girl and I'm assuming she's in the unexplored part but how on earth do I get there? The doors are frozen. I've used the explosive man with telekenesis to try and blow it up, but alas no luck :o

You need the fire plasmid I think Dark, use it to melt the Ice. I could be wrong though.

From where you are located in that picture, you would want to travel, West, then South and then take the Stairs on the East. That should take you into the room with the 2 Stairs and the Womans head in the picture. I think the room at the bottom left of that section is where the Fire Plasmid is. You need to crouch down and go through a small gap to get it.

you do, you need to use the fire plasmid to melt some ice blocking a door. I think the fire plasmid is somwhere in the crematorium...

I could have sworn I tried using the flire plasmid :o

I still couldn't find the second little girl, I've found and killed all 3 on the second level.

How long is this game roughly?
 
Finally got round to completing this, feel a bit disappointed?

I killed Fontaine all 3 times, and when I collected ADAM on the last one he bitch slapped me across the hall and then all the little sisters piled on top of him and that's it. After they stabbed him to death, Tannenbaum (sp?) said I was evil and she made me feel bad for havesting the little girls for Adam, so a short clip played for about 20 second and it just took me to main game menu where you can choose to continue etc, no ending or credits? Is it meant to do that? :confused:
