Hi all.
Been out of the loop for a short while and not really sure what classes as a decent GPU upgrade for my wife's gaming rig.

Currently running an MSI HD 7950 Twin Frozr III Boost Edition 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card.

Motherboard is a Gigabyte Z87X-D3H Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX, with a Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor.

Memory = Patriot Viper "Black Mamba" Generation 3 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-17000C11 2133MHz

Is there a GPU around that would be worth upgrading to for around the £300 mark?
Just trying to bring her rig up to date a little bit, as its probably 3+ years old now.

Any other ideas for improvements within the budget gratefully received!

Thanks all

Give her your card and upgrade your rig:D

Not really around £300, it's a bit of an empty gap at the moment. I'd go for an RX480 8GB or GTX1060 6GB, both significant upgrades and around £220+.

Next step up is GTX1070 at around £350. Or else, OCUK had R9 Fury's earlier for £270, that's not a bad option either - faster than RX480 and GTX1060, slower than GTX1070.
