Quick build question - help pls

I have an old Nightjaw fanless silverstone psu, I have a 8 hole socket '12v ATX' to the side of the CPU on a Gigabyte A88x motherboard, matx (I know this powers the CPU).

I am not overclocking. Now I have a 4 pin cable and a 6 pin cable on my PSU with a few extra cables for cd-rom, HDD etc

The 6 pin is the kind of one you plug into the gfx card

Do I use the 4 pin? on the bottom 4 sockets?

Or do I need a newer PSU?

It may very well work fine with the 4pins only fitted.

I have seen this done before.
