Quick Call Of Duty 4 Question

My mate sent me his cod4 congif, I changed my config to his.

But it doesnt work.. when im ingame its just the same.. but when I go to my config its his config

hope someone can help as im really stuck

seen this a couple of times where the config is in the wrong place in Vista (mainly becasue by default the appdata folder is hidden), you 100% sure the config is in the right place (sorry i know it sounds stupid), also ppl often copy the single player config

ah sry i should have posted. i did see your thread about backing up the profile earlier so i guess you had the right one anyway
