any thoughts on that mobo ? seems too good to be true.

budget is 400 quid for the base unit. and thats almost dead on ( inc the GFX im selling him )

dual core cpu and motherboard for well under £200 !!

As for the ASUS, the SLi boards are more favourable than the single ones becuase of their upgrade paths.. Also, beacuse they were around the same price. This has obviously forced the single slot down in price.

id much rather build an intel system anyway tbh. im just more familiar with them
but im lacking confidence in th 805... it wont be OCd ... just for video editing so dual core WOPULD be prefered...
i have an asrock 775 dual 880pro i can give him but it wont support the newer 9xx series of chips.
ill post back afetr some looking for a cheapie 830 ( still i cannot find one for 117 !... they appear to be more expensive than the 9xx series ! )
