I personally would change the PSU to something else , and do you need 1000W ?

went for 1000W just in case of sli mainly, would you recommend a different brand/model one? or just that 1000w seems too much?

Well if your gonna maybe do sli later then OK...but I would choose one of the EVGA PSUs

he seems fairly set on the 6700k, cant hold him off ordering any longer so hes going for it
