I have about £800 to spend on a new PC for my old man. He is really into his gaming and like all of us, likes to run at high settings. WOuld this sys below last him a while? I'm just worried that the CPU will bottleneck the graphic card. Should I rather go for the E6600? Also, would everything work nice together? He already have a case, keyboard, mouse, monitor, sound card and all the optical devices.

That system would be fine, as suggested PC6400 might be better for overclocking though and you also probably don't need the extra USB card unless you have 5+ USB devices since you normally get at least that many ports on an average motherboard now.
