I have other HDs that Ill change over. I also have a 1000w PSU. My case is a Coolermaster Cosmos S.

The only thing I've omitted is a CPU cooler. I wanted the Noctua NH-D15 Dual Radiator Quiet CPU Cooler with two NH-A15 Fans but its out of stock and also don't know if its going to fit my case.

I happy to pay more for a MB too if there's any benefit to be added.

I'm not sure if this is a work station or a gaming build. If the later you may wish to look into a better GPU to couple with the higher end CPU you've included?
 
Hi

Its going to be a bit of both. I play games now and then but I also wanted a CPU to encode video/music etc. I'm fed up with mu Q6600 as its too slow these days. I thought the more cores the better and I'm gambling on games going multi-core. I'm on a GTX 750ti at the moment and didn't want to spend any more than £300 on the GPU. Would a 980 better suit the 5820?
