Quick check: pumps + pump controller

I should be able to use a "Koolance Dual 24V Pump Controller" with two Laing DDCs right?

Hmm not sure as it does specifically state its a controller for the D5 series. Nice bit of kit though...

You could easily blow your pumps with that controller, that controller is designed for d5 strongs not ddc.

You can run a ddc off a decent lamptron fan controller if you really want to control them and I believe koolance do a ddc pump controller too.

The Lamptron FC2 works fine with the 18w DDC pumps tho if u are using the rpm reading lead on ur motherboard cpu header and u are not running the pump at full chat it will give random readings as it will with pretty much any controller that pulses the voltage to adjust the speed.
I was actually considering having 2 of thoes pumps on a single channel but was talked into sticking with a single pump and it would have been pretty close to the 45w limit on the channel anyway.
