Hi, just wanted to make sure it's all compatible and kosher before I order, case and OS I'm getting from elsewhere and my mate is selling me his x1900. RAM compatibility is my main concern. Will be overclocking ever so slightly(for the first time:eek:)

It is all compatible but I'd change the Ram to something like Geil PC6400 since it is cheaper and the Ballistix, while good when it works, does have a reputation for being a bit hit and miss on working.

Is there a particular reason you are getting an mATX motherboard? I ask because the X1900XT isn't exactly a small card so if you have an mATX case then you need to check that it will fit first although I'm sure you have.

I might change the CPU cooler to either a Tuniq Tower or a Noctua NH-U12F but again with the caveat of checking they fit.

Finally, the picture is a little bit on the large side possibly. :)

Cheers, been a long time since I purchased RAM so wasn't sure which brand to go with, just checked the Geil, the power rating is less I noticed so does that make it better for overclocking?

Getting an mATX board to go in a small case, the case I'm getting has nothing between the mobo and the front of the case so should be plenty of room, I have an Akasa 62 eclipse just in case it doesn't and it's big enough lol.

No so sure whether the the Tuniq Tower would fit since the socket is closer to the top of the board then normal ATX boards and it could end up interfering with the powersupply. Although I've always seen the TT oriented so the fan is blowing air towards the back of the case, it might fit if I orient it so it's blowing up the powersupply but I'm not so sure thus is a good idea?
