...due to somewhat 'stupid' housemates who think it's 'well funny' to just cut the power from time to time, my PC has had some, somewhat abrupt shutdowns recently and FAH seems pretty slow.

I don't know if it's just bad WUs but a 2124 took like 5 days last week whereas normally it takes 3 at the very most...

I've no idea what im looking for so, does this all look like it's starting ok?

If its any help that looks pretty much the same as i get when i start clients, so i dont *think* theres any problems, someone more adept with the technical side of things may be able to verify.

yeah that's starting fine - though of course it's starting at 0 so if it had done any work before it's now gone

If it's going to happen often then you might want to add the -forceasm flag (if you haven't already) and that will make sure that SSE is on no matter what happened last shutdown - also a cheap UPS might be worth looking at

otherwise I can come down there and wire their door handles to the mains ;) :D

That was a new Unit so it was meant to be starting at 0 :)

-forceasm is on as far as I am aware.

I'll do the wiring myself ;)

If you do get any weirdness the easiest thing to do is stop the client and delete/move the core - it's not unusual for the core to get corrupted in situations like that though usually it will cause loads of EUEs rather than just being slow.

Or more commonly will be detected as corrupt and replaced.
