I have watched a lot of cooking programmes in which there are many recipies that use chillies. Non of them however say what type of chilli is being used. Any chilli experts able to clarify what chillies are generally used?
I would imagine it is those that are sold as generic red/green chillies in the supermarkets without any type listed on the packet. Thats why when I gre chillies a few years back I used seeds from a super market chilli as I knew then I'd be getting the same thing that I knew how to cook with!
