If I buy COD4 from a high street shop, will I be able to activate it on Steam and use Steam friends and the like? Or do I have to actually buy it from Steam?
You can purchase a retail copy and still use Steam Friends, by adding the shortcut in Steam. But you won't be able to download CoD4 through Steam and it won't be tied to your account.
