I know COD4 is supposed to be a short game so I was just wondering about how far through the game I currently was (i'm catching up on some back catalogue games i've yet to play), don't give too much away just roughly how long is left.

spoiler --> I've just passed the section with the Nuclear explosion where Sgt. Paul Jackson was KIA.

That mission is called Shock and Awe I believe and is roughly halfway through the game.

Thanks - appreciate both replies.

It is a short game isn't it. However i'd rather have short, intense and exciting than long, drawn out and boring. Plus the MP more than makes up for it.... thats just crazy fun :)

Play the game on Veteran and that'll add a few extra hours of game play, along with you throwing the pad against the wall and cursing a lot... seems to be what I'm doing at the moment lol. I've played this through on the pc, but since I have it on the 360 I thought I might as well play it again for the gamer points.

Can't get enough of the story line, easily the best game of last year for me (in the shooters category anyway)

Not being funny but you say to not give stuff away but you've given away a big part of it just there, for anyone that's not played it yet.

Yeah, I did didn't I.... not clever, I'll adjust my first post so not to give anything away.... is it possible to adjust the thread title as well?

Finished it over the weekend. An excellent game, a little short and linear but its positives far out way its negatives. I really liked the ending to the main game ... a nice touch. The mile high club's a nice little mission on the end as well. :)

Tried playing this on the harder difficulty modes the other day, bit disappointing, the difficulty just seems to be ramped up by making the enemies grenades ridiculously accurate, and increasing the amount by about 10x.

The medium difficulty level is a little easy though.
