Quick Cooling Question

It would be fine supplying enough power to your components, 500w version would be fine.

I don't what you mean about cool?

sorry complete beginner **** here...

What sort of cooling (if any) would I be looking to supply to the system? Would this PSU mean i dont need cooling? Or perhaps just a small internal fan?

You still would need a case which supplies and expels the air along with the PSU.

Most cases come with one intake and extract fan :)

I believe its quite a good case for its time (maybe 6 years ago) and seems in fine order. just checked and it has a small (well say 10x10 cm) fan placed the on a vent in the frame - this is what you were referring to yeah?

Yes, it might be a 80mm or 120mm fan, is it easy for you to post a pic of the case or give a name.

I recognise that case, seen something similar before, not in the flesh though.

Looks like you have one rear fan which looks to be 80mm, the whole can take 120mm, unless its the illusion of the photo doing it, you should have one at the front which should be behind the front plastic.

This will be fine for a reasonable system :)

Ahh - thanks. So, with this case, and fans ect, the Power & Cooling 500W psu should be fine yeah?

Theres just a matter of taking this thing apart, there seems to be unlimited screws on it, some of which dont even have screw heads:(

The PSU will be perfect :)

Yep, its just a case of unscrewing the items you want to change, some bits could be a learning curve with a little swearing involved :D

One thing you need to check is the power button and LED cables, looking the board already installed this appears to be a standard board.
