Quick Corsair Fan question

I've got three Corsair fans which I wish to use. Unfortunately, my motherboard does not detect them.

Included with these fans are a 7v(?) resistor which can reduce speeds which therefore reduces noise. Is it safe to use this on my motherboard to run the fan at 100% all the time 24/7?

And sorry if this sounds silly, but is it safe to run any fan at 100% speed 24/7 through the motherboard?

When I say safe I mostly mean if it would damage the fan or motherboard:p

Please forgive my paranoia! :D

Thanks.

Those resistors are supposed to be used on the motherboard. Completely safe running them 24/7 AND its safe to run any fan at 100% speed, 24/7 through the motherboard.
Wont damage the motherboard as the fans are taking the 12V needed and wont damage the fan because, well, theyre taking the 12V there designed to take.
