Hi, just had a couple of questions about CPU coolers. I'm considering a new build probably with an Intel C2D E8400 - haven't overclocked before.

1) Is the stock cooler definitely worth replacing if I'm only planning to overclock a little bit further down the line, and run stock speeds first of all? Reducing temps and noise seems sensible anyway.

2) The Noctua NH-U12P, Thermalright Ultra-120A and Tuniq Tower 120 seem good. Would they be *much* quieter than the stock HSF?

In the case of getting a Tuniq Tower or similar, it seems easier to fit one during the initial build rather than later, so I'm just trying to make things hassle-free. Sorry if these are obvious! Thanks for any info.

Tuniq Tower is dead silent and will definitely help you keeping the temps low.

You should expect it to hit at least 3.8ghz with tuniq tower and decent motherboard.
