Quick CPU/Mobo/Memory check

Got the P8 Z77 V Pro here, pretty good board. Even without the this week only price drop, it's a fair bit cheaper than what i paid for mine a few months ago.
 
Not really tbh, i gotta say that the main pcie slot spacing on the LE version is excellent. Better than on the pro model i have. The pro model comes with a small wireless kit, which is a bit rubbish tbh.

The LX model is xfire only, the others have the option of xfire and sli should you ever need them.
 
Right I'll go for the cheaper board then. Do you find 16Gb of ram good, or should I just get the cheap 8Gb?
 
I bought another 8gb just because it was cheap. Thinking of taking it out and keeping it for spares tbh. Should make overclocking a bit easier as well.
 
It does look good but I'm going to order today, my old motherboard died last night :(. Really annoying as I was planning on sticking with the Q9550 for another year, however I wanted a RAM boost up from 4GB which wouldn't fit with the massive scyth hsf I have.
 
Well ideally about £30 could go a bit higher but would like to avoid spending £50 if possible. I do like my PC to be very quiet though, I'd sacriface overclock for quietness.
 
 
I think I'll stretch to the Dark Rock 2, it does look rather good! I am best off with the Samsung low profile so I can go up to 16Gb if I want in the future? I'm thinking the fan on the cooler might cover the ram slots a bit.
