Hi,

I just want to ask if someone can check that my memory is being picked up properly and utilised. I have a G1 Sniper motherboard, and just cleared my bios settings when updating to the latest.

The memory I have installed is: Corsair Vengeance 12GB (3x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz Memory Kit CL9 1.5V Non-ECC Unbuffered

This shows up in CPU-Z as below. Please can you tell me if this is how it should be? I've heard of these often running below the speed they should.

^ Why won't my image work?

Thanks,

Thanks scottmuir. I changed it but then shortly after my PC failed to boot, restarted 3 times then reset the bios back to default. I just turned up the memory multiplier to make it 1600Mhz. I guess I need to look at the voltages too.

Thanks for the info, i'll take a look when I have a bit more time.

Cpuz is showing 24Gb? Have you added 12gb to a pre existing 12gb? You will have to set the QPI/VTT manually, usually around 1.3 to 1.35v for such a speed and size. Also VDIMM might have to be set a notch or two higher.
