Quick crysis question?

Does warhead follow on from the the original crysis...because i've just had a wtf moment when the game ended

On a side note...crysis is frikkin awesome, i've played just about every fps there is and crysis is right up there in the top 10

Ok...as it's another character can someone tell me if it will carry on past the point where crysis ended and give a proper ending?
