Quick CV Grammar Query

Hi all,

On describing qualifications in a CV: 5 As and 4 Bs or 5 A's and 4 B's?

I'd do neither. Either state you have x number of GCSEs grades A to C or list them in a table with grade. OR...just leave them off like I did.

You're 24. GCSEs grades won't matter unless that is all you've got?

9 GCSEs between A & B.

Don't list them, only list your highest form of qualification.

If you have a degree and or a masters only list them.

Also, no. It depends on the industry. Law firms for instance would ask you to list your degree, A-Levels and GCSEs. Most will also ask for a full breakdown.

Of course, but apparently the rules don't apply if:

- You work in HMV's marketing department and you're making banners for the DVD's section
- You work for any multi-national alcohol company making adverts, then your product is for over 18's only

Five A grades, four B grades. Not sure if you refer to it as grades, i think it would be better to list each subject and what you got for it. Save them having to ask.

Personally if I had four bachelors then I wouldn't bother mentioning my AS levels
