Quick Diablo 2 and LOD Question

Ok I'm thinking about starting a new game with a different build, I've done:

Several barb builds, whirlwind, frenzy. Javazon, Bowazon.

I'm thinking maybe a trap assassin? Anyone got any thoughts?

never tried a trap assasin, ive always wanted to try a poisonmancer but i normaly go skelemancer(favorite class/build).

if you want something different u can try a melee sorc or a non hammerdin pala.

Bah I just remembered I was going to try the median mod. I guess the classes are changed enough that traditional builds won't be useful? Will have to make one up as I go along.

Guys I am having trouble with the MultiRes patch. It works fine in D3D mode but I get graphical errors as it says in the readme. However, it won't run at all in DirectDraw mode, it just comes up with a very small black box in the top left and nothing happens.
