quick display port question

i run 2 screens currently from my 6950 2gb but it doesnt display to 3 desktop screens vis 2 x dvi and a hdmi, now im under the assumption i would need to use a display port adaptor and both dvi on my card to use 3 screens, is this right? if so would this be ok to use?

pretty sure you need an ACTIVE display port adapter to make it show the 3rd screen

what is your card? brand and model?

Probably you will need an Active display port adapter.
