My new Asus 7970 Matrix Platinum will be arriving within the hour, and I'm just looking at getting the software side sorted out for when it gets here.
I have the latest driver from AMD (AMD Catalyst 13.11) downloaded and ready, but then I looked on the Asus support page for the card and there's other software/drivers there available for download.

Under "Drivers and Tools" there's a VGA, Firmware and Utilities section/
So my question is, should I be downloading any of this from the Asus site?
My guess would be that the VGA section is just old normal drivers that the AMD Catalyst 13.11 is the updated version of, so I'm guessing I don't want/need that ?
And is GPU Tweak the software I want to have for the card? Presumably this is just monitoring/tweaking software, so is it the best/correct one? Will the card come with a different/better one?
But my main query is the "Firmware" section containing a firmware update. Do I want to download this?
Thanks in advance.
