Quick dual screen question!

Hi everyone,

I have a small problem with the arangement of my room and i hope you can help. I have a 19" Standard TFT and a 19" Widescreen TFT.

I use the widescreen for TV and DVD but i need it to be on the left hand side of the normal monitor

Can i set up dual screen so i have my windows desktop on the right but i can scroll onto the other sccreen to the left? But not have to scroll off the right hand side of the screen. I want be able to drag items straight onto it!

You can position the monitors exactly as you wish I believe in your windows display settings. ie: So one is to the left or right of the other, and so one is virtically higher or lower than the other.

If you have this set up now, try it! Just grap the image for the screen in display settings and drag/drop it...

If Windows doesn't do it, Ultramon should.

Ultramon will let you place it any way you want ... Although you should be able to drag the screen to the correct side in the desktop settings bit.

Don't forget you can even adjust their heights relative to each other as well by dragging the images of the monitors up and down...

seeing as the answer has already been posted, can i Hijack this thread?

i've got a Dual TFT setup, but when the screensaver comes on, its only on in the primary monitor.

eventually the second monitor goes to sleep.
anyway, is there anyway of having the screensaver on both monitors?

Sorry about the flash, I am a muppet and I couldn't figure out how to turn the flash off the ruddy camera. I have XP w/SP2. Why the hell are you still using SP1?!

Ultramon sorted that out for me as i only had the screensaver on 1 screen

Anyone know anything about running 3 monitors from 2 graphics cards?
need to find out if i have to get another 6800GT, any other nvidia pcie card, or just any nvidia pci card for my 3rd display :*(

Any other nVidia card is the easiest way, I've been running a 6800GT (AGP) and a 5200FX (PCI) for ages...the 6800GT has just croaked though, so it'll soon be a 7800GS+ and 5200FX. Another 6800GT would give you the SLi option too though.
