It says,
Country were you born in?
Would this be England or the UK?

Should I put UK or England?
Everyone: Put England
I'm putting UK
...what was the point in asking when you just ignored everyone anyway?![]()
I always use UK on official documents.
Genuinely out of curiosity, why UK and not your country of birth? I suppose in some respects those whose parents aren't [English/Scottish/Welsh/NI] then they may want to try and keep hold of their roots by not saying 'England, so English' maybe.
It is a UK driving licence so put UK.
The individual countries were dissolved by the act of union.
You can have either UK or Scotland etc

All new licences issued are UK licences, they do not differentiate between England/Wales/Scotland other than you can state the country you were born in.
(which I suppose the OP was on about)
The licence itself is a UK one. It will still have a big fat UK in the corner.
You can have the licence in Welsh, but not Gaelic which probably gets your goat....![]()

No, they were not.
